For a fashion magazine I once got these questions.
The answers were not enough fashion related, so It was never printed:

1. Have You got a fetish, an object that you like more than others? It could be an accessory, a souvenir, something that someone gave to you. A thing which have a particular meaning in your life?

Yes, I have one thing actually, that I have always with me, that I bring wherever I go and that has a huge importance in my life. The Bible. Ihave another accessory that has a great meaning for me and I always wear, that is my wedding ring.

2. Can you tell me something about this thing, the story related to it (when did you buy it, or someone gave it to you?).

I bought the Bible in Vienna ten years ago, right before I became a Christian. I wrapped it for myself into beautiful leather, so it would feel good, when I touch it. it looks pretty old by now... Reading in it changed my life, for I had not known how God speaks to us through everything that is written in it. I learn about the loving Character of God through reading it. My faith grows when I read it. I hope it continues to change me into a person that really follows God ALL the time, for it is the most meaningful and joyfull life I can imagine. :o)

Well, and after I got the Bible, I met my husband. We met on the set of "Faraway, so close." We recognised each other on the last shootingday. I knew on the evening of that last day, that this will be my husband. Half a year later, we exchanged rings and eversince I have mine on my finger. We were in a little church high up in the mountains in Switzerland, when we married. It clearly was the beginning of an extraordinary journey. I am truely grateful to be wearing his ring on my finger.

3.How do You relate with accessories of everyday life, for you as a person before that an artist and a photographer.

I cherish simplicity and beauty. In my home as well as in the way I dress. I rather have a few things that have an elegant simplicity, then many things. The things I have, I like to be beautiful and made with natural materials. For example I do not have much of plastic things in my life. My pencils are in a little leather holder... as I travel a lot, so I need to keep my accessories limited and combined with things I need. I have nearly no item that is just standing around doing nothing. So really I am very specific when it comes to accessories. Things that make a room busy, I would rather not keep. Things though that give a beautiful color into a room or that have tradition or personal meaning I love, though I do not have many of that kind, for I had a phase when I got rid of a lot of things. But for example the old wooden cooking-spoon of my Grandmother I still use and I love that. Or silk-bags that my mother in law made for me for the suitcase, I have with me... that might give you an idea...
